Shield

Vitamin C - Our body uses antioxidants to boost the immune system. Vitamin C is one of the most important antioxidants.

Zinc - Zinc possesses antiviral properties that inhibit the viral process from attachment, infection and replication. Zinc cannot enter a cell on its own. Zinc can penetrate a cell through a process called ionophore that is facilitated by Quercetin and or EGCG (Green Tea Extract). We use both Quercetin and EGCG to maximize cell absorption of zinc.

Green Tea Extract (EGCG) - A powerful antioxidant and ionophore. Ionophore helps transport zinc ions into cells where viruses replicate.

Quercetin - A powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and ionophore. Ionophore helps transport zinc ions into cells where viruses replicate.

Astaxanthin - Claimed to be 6,000x stronger than Vitamin C. A potent antioxidant carotenoid that plays a major role in modulating the immune response. Increases the numbers and activity of white blood cells called lymphocytes and natural killer cells that are responsible for creating the body's innate immune response to invaders.

Beta Glucan 1,3/1,6 - Beta Glucan's are a immunostimulant agent that stimulate the activity of macrophages and NK cell cytotoxicity. Macrophages ingest and demolish invading pathogens and stimulate other immune cells to attack. Beta glucans stimulate lethal white blood cells (lymphocytes) that bind to tumors or viruses, and release chemicals to destroy them.

Andrographis: Has powerful antibacterial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anticancer, and immunostimulating properties.

Astragalus - Antioxidant, immune support and stress reduction.

Elderberry - Antioxidant used for centuries as a remedy for immune support.

Echinacea - Has been traditionally used for centuries as a holistic way to support the immune system and help the body fight infections. Echinacea is one of the world's leading herb used for overall wellness.

American Ginseng - Possesses active immune modulation potential against cancer, bacterial, viral infections and autoimmune diseases.

Eleuthero - Adaptogen, anticholesteremic, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, immune potentiator, nervine. anti-inflammatory, reduces cortisol levels and promotes improved cognitive and physical performance.

Mistletoe - Possesses semiparasitic, anti-anxiety, and immune boosting properties.

Sardinian cistus incanus - A natural antibiotic, antiviral, biofilm buster with potent immune modulator.

Codonopsis Root - Adaptogen, gastroprotective, hypoglycemic agent, immune potentiator, nervine that is commonly used to strengthen the immune system.

Licorice Root - Adaptogen, antihistamine, anti-inflammatory, antidiuretic, antioxidant, antitussive, antiviral, demulcent, hepatoprotective, immune amphoteric, gastroprotective and immune amphoteric.

Maral - Adaptogen, anticoagulant, antioxidant, antitumor, cardiac tonic, hepatoprotective, hypoglycemic, immunostimulant, and nervine.

Rhodiola - Stimulating adaptogen, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antidepressant, cardioprotective, immune potentiator, and nervine.

Schisandra - Adaptogen, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, astringent, antiasthmatic, hepatoprotective, immune amphoteric.

We use proprietary liposomal encapsulation technology with organic sunflower lecithin for maximum oral absorption delivering the active ingredients into your bloodstream. Having the best ingredients are worthless unless you absorb them into your bloodstream so they can circulate.

High Dosage Vitamin C - Vitamin C is an antioxidant, helps prevent oxidative stress and provide immune support. Vitamin C is required to produce collagen which plays a vital role in wound healing. Mega dosages have been studied as a treatment for patients with cancer since the 1970s. Intravenous vitamin C was the only viable delivery mechanism for dosages above 1 gram/day because the absorption rates were so low causing gastric distress.

To kill cancer cells, a vitamin C blood level concentration of around 250-350 mg/dl is required. An average person will typically have around 1 mg/dl on a healthy diet. It takes 1.5 hours for a vitamin C IV to deliver 25-50 grams of vitamin C raising the blood level concentration to the 200-300 mg/dl range.

Standard Vitamin C pills or powders are absorbed at approximately 17- 20%. Absorption rates decrease as you take more than 1 gram usually resulting in diarrhea. Shield and Shield RX are absorbed at 93% measured in the blood stream. A 390% increase in absorption! Taking high dosages of Shield or Shield RX do not result in diarrhea because there is very little unabsorbed Vitamin C left in the digestive tract to cause diarrhea.

6 grams of liposomal Vitamin C contained in Shield is equal to 50 grams of intravenous vitamin C.

This is a bit confusing since blood level concentrations are the gold standard. Having proper blood levels is the start. We focus on the final destination of Vitamin C levels inside the cells. Vitamin C is a water soluble nutrient that has a difficult time passing through the fat barrier that coats cell walls. At immunizeLABS, our products are made out of the same fat-based bi-layer that the cell walls are made of making if more efficient for the vitamin C to cross the cellular walls.

Zinc Gluconate - Zinc is an essential trace element that is crucial for growth, development, and the maintenance of a healthy immune system. Zinc levels are a critical factor that can influence antiviral immunity. Zinc deficiency is associated with severe infections. Zinc helps to enhance the response to the virus and participates in many regulatory pathways. Zinc supports the production of white blood cells, which are the major players in the immune system. Zinc also helps regulate inflammation. An inflammatory response is required to help fight an infection but unfortunately in COVID-19, the overproduction of pro-inflammatory cytokines can result in some of the worst symptoms of COVID-19. The third benefit to zinc is that zinc helps prevent the replication of rhinoviruses responsible for respiratory infections including the common cold. Once inside the cell, zinc inhibits the replication capacity of COVID-19 virus. Zinc cannot enter a cell on its own. Zinc can penetrate a cell through a process called ionophore that is facilitated by Quercetin and or EGCG (Green Tea Extract). We use both Quercetin and EGCG to maximize cell absorption of zinc.

Yes: citrus fruits (vitamin C), garlic, yogurt (probiotics), spinach, turmeric, ginger, and almonds (vitamin E) support immunity.

What is the difference between a cold and the flu?

Colds develop slowly and are milder; flu hits fast with high fever, fatigue, and body aches. Flu symptoms are more severe and systemic.

Can stress weaken your immune system?

Yes. Chronic stress raises cortisol, which suppresses immunity, reduces white blood cells, and increases infection risk.

Does age affect the immune system?

Yes. With age, T-cell production slows, chronic inflammation rises, and vaccine responses weaken.

Why do children get sick more often?

Their immune systems are still developing and lack exposure-based memory. Schools/daycares increase germ exposure.

Can your menstrual cycle affect immunity?

Yes. Immune activity varies: it’s stronger before ovulation (follicular phase) and slightly weaker after (luteal phase), increasing vulnerability.

What vitamins boost the immune system?

Vitamin C, D, E, A, B6, and B12 support various immune functions including antioxidant defense, T-cell activation, and antibody production.

How does sleep affect the immune system?

Sleep strengthens immunity by aiding T-cell activation and cytokine release. Poor sleep increases inflammation and illness risk.

What are signs of a weak immune system?

Frequent infections, fatigue, slow healing, cold sores, and digestive issues are common signs of immune dysfunction.

Is inflammation good or bad for immunity?

Acute inflammation helps fight infections. Chronic inflammation is harmful and linked to autoimmune and metabolic diseases.

How much water should I drink for immune health?

Aim for 2–3 liters daily. Water supports lymph flow, toxin removal, and cell hydration essential to immune function.

Can seasonal changes make you sick?

Yes. Dry air, lower sunlight, and more indoor contact during seasonal changes can compromise immunity and raise infection risk.

What are autoimmune disorders?

Autoimmune diseases cause the immune system to attack healthy tissue. Examples include lupus, type 1 diabetes, and RA.

How do vaccines strengthen immunity?

Vaccines expose the body to antigens to train immune memory. Later exposure triggers faster, stronger defense.

Can you really 'boost' your immune system?

YES! You can support it with good habits, but over-activating the immune system may backfire (autoimmunity/inflammation).

Why do I keep getting sick?

Causes include chronic stress, poor diet, sleep deprivation, immune conditions, or nutrient deficiencies. Consult a physician if persistent.

How does the immune system recognize pathogens?

Specialized receptors detect pathogen-associated molecules (PAMPs). This activates immune cells to neutralize the intruder.
