Bad Breath (Halitosis) – Bad breath can be caused by gum disease, cavities, smoking, dry mouth and bacteria. When you eat, bacteria eat first! When they digest the food particles in your mouth, they release acids that harm enamel and cause bad breath (gas released by bacteria).
